As of (Nov. 7th) our group has completed just over 448 hours of service in and around our school and community.
Some of our recent projects had our group planting tulip bulbs in our school's courtyard. We had 16 members working in effort to beautify Calvert High.
Our recent blood drive with the American Red Cross brought in 16 units, just two units below our goal. But those 16 units can be split into 3 portions and help save 48 lives.
One of the biggest projects we do, every year, is stadium cleanups after the home football games. Our group spends time Saturday morning, rain or shine, picking up others trash so that the custodial staff doesn't have to the night of the game. This year we have spent over 40 hours sorting through waste containers and picking up trash.
